Nezih TUNALI holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Economics from Hacettepe University.
With over 40 years of career experience spanning the logistics sector as well as industrial enterprises, holding companies, family businesses, and corporate finance and investment banking, he has played key roles in major investment projects, initial public offerings (IPOs), privatization initiatives, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), restructuring projects, and numerous international financing and securities issuance projects.
Originating from Deloitte, he was part of the core team that established the firm’s presence in Turkey and served in both the Turkey and London offices.
In addition to serving in senior management roles in industrial companies and holding structures for approximately 20 years, he has nearly 20 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance.
As a member of the founding team of Turkish Eximbank, he worked in various capacities, including Deputy General Manager, overseeing the establishment and management of programs financing exports, foreign currency-earning services, and investment projects.
In the last 20 years of his professional career, he has held executive-level positions in industrial enterprises and holding companies. He has served as a C-level executive and board member in publicly traded companies, conglomerates, and family businesses, and continues to fulfill executive roles in companies both in Turkey and abroad.
He held the positions of CFO and Vice President of Strategy and Investments at OYAK Holding and Erdemir Group for over a decade. During this period, he managed a wide range of responsibilities within the steel industry, from privatization and restructuring, modernization, mining and energy investments, to managing overseas subsidiaries and M&A projects; as well as overseeing cost management, ERP system implementation, finance and accounting processes, investor relations, and IPO procedures.
In 2008, Nezih TUNALI founded a consultancy firm under the name NT Finans Partners, leading numerous corporate finance and management consultancy projects both in Turkey and internationally.
He currently serves as a Board Member and General Manager at Turk RoRo, Turk Road Freight, Turk Intermodal, and Turk Intermodal Srl.
Nezih TUNALI is highly proficient in English. He is married and has two children.
